HEY LEOS! ^__^
My name is Joanna Chang, and I will be your secretary for the year of 2012-2013 (: This is my fourth year as a Leo and my last year as a high school student, so feel free to come to me if you have any questions or concerns about Leo Club, high school, etc. You can find me at almost any of the meetings and events or reach me at joanna_chang@msn.com :D
This blog will generally be updated after each event, so make sure to check in once in a while to see how many hours you have earned. Don't forget to sign in/out at every event you go to, and keep in mind that you need at least 25 hours to remain a member, 50 hours to earn a Silver Award, and 100 hours to receive a Gold Award. Please don't go to Cyclone Post Office for all of your hours. Try to participate in a variety of events. (It makes volunteering a lot more exciting!) Also, don't hesitate to let me know via email if you spot any mistakes in my posts! I will definitely try my best to fix them as soon as possible.
Last, but not least, remember that volunteering is a privilege. We are all extremely blessed, so giving back to our community and helping others is the least we could do. But, of course, having fun while we're at it is a must, too (; Let's make this an awesome Leo year and try to surpass our goal of 10000 hours, yeah? :P
